Mimosa Tree

Every year, a Mimosa tree flowers near one of our creeks and every year I go out and try to photograph the flowers in a way that showcases there beauty.  This past week, I was driving around and saw at least three different varieties of Mimosa trees blooming.  I thought I have to get out to our tree and photograph the blooms.  So for three days I went out to the tree in the evening and photographed it from every angle.  I used everything from my 400mm lens, 100mm macro and 24-70mm 2.8 L lenses. I processed the photos through Adobe Light Room 4 , adjusting contrast, saturation and sharpness to bring out the full form and beauty of these flowers.
