Saint Augustine FL
At the beginning of May I headed back to Saint Augustine Florida, I went a little earlier this year then last year. My first stop was of course the Alligator Farm and Bird Rookery. Walking out on the boardwalk I was greeted by the sight of a lot of big glass. As it turned out there was a photo workshop going on that week at the Alligator Farm.
Birds of all kinds were plentiful, Spoonbills, Storks and Egrets of all varieties flew overhead and sometimes next to us. The chicks were just starting to hatch, so the chance for photographing parent chick interaction was good. I was able to use my Alligator Farm photographer’s pass again this year allowing me to stay an hour after the park closed and get in an hour earlier. 🙂 I look forward to heading back next year and photographing the wide variety of birds once again.
